About Us
Ladies that Lead is the first student club at WU dedicated to supporting women in business and economics. We focus on career development, community building, and personal growth through workshops, panels, networking, and social events.
Our goal is to create a supportive environment where ambition is encouraged, collaboration is valued over competition, and students gain the skills, confidence, and connections needed to succeed within and beyond the university.
What we do
Lead Events
Connect with industry professionals and develop essential leadership skills through our exclusive workshops and speaker series. Designed specifically for ambitious female students, these events provide insights, mentoring opportunities & a powerful platform to build your network before you graduate.
Lounge Events
Lounge Events offer a casual and welcoming space to share experiences, build lasting friendships, and find your community. Through our regular informal meetups, wellness sessions, and social gatherings, we help you connect with like-minded women completely outside the pressures of traditional networking.
Newbie Network
The Newbie Network is an initiative designed to welcome and support girls even before they enroll at WU. We run online workshops, Q&As, and in person meetups, building a space where future students can learn, connect and feel confident about joining the WU community.

Who we are
Ladies that Lead is run by a management team of ambitious WU students. Each of us started as women seeking community and growth. Today, we lead Operations, Communications, and Creatives, building events and initiatives that support women navigating their business and economics studies here at WU.

How do I become a member?+
Apply during our recruitment period. To stay with our club for multiple years attend at least 3 events per semester to keep your membership.
Who can join Ladies that Lead?+
All ladies enrolled at WU are welcome to join from both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.
Do I need prior experience to join?+
No. Most members join in their first semesters. Curiosity, motivation, and openness are enough.
Is Ladies that Lead only for women?+
Our events are designed to empower women, but selected events may be open to all students.
How can I join the management team?+
Apply via our open calls. Only members of our club are eligible to apply for management positions.
